During the five days of the New Year, police found 14 illegal tourists in the Chernobyl zone
Violators arrived at the exclusion zone from different parts of Ukraine and entered the territory illegally, bypassing checkpoints.
So, the other day, while patrolling the Chernobyl zone, near the resettled city of Pripyat, police found five seekers of extreme tourism. They were 23-year-old and 36-year-old residents of Vinnytsia, 29-year-old Kyiv resident, 20-year-old resident of Zhytomyr region and 20-year-old resident of Odessa.
In addition, law enforcement officers found nine extreme tourists from the city of Kyiv near the villages of Poliske, Martynovychi and near the Chornobyl-2 checkpoint. The oldest of them is 32 years old, and the youngest – 20.
