Police found 11 more stalkers in the Chernobyl zone

The violators were found by law enforcement officers during the Christmas holidays. Most of them are residents of Kyiv who came to the exclusion zone for extreme tourism. All of them entered the territory illegally, bypassing checkpoints.

Thus, during a patrol near the resettled city of Pripyat, as well as the villages of Poliske and Stechanka, police found 11 stalkers from the city of Kyiv and Volyn regions. The oldest of them is 32 years old, and the youngest is 18.

It is worth noting that a 32-year-old woman and a 21-year-old boy, found near the village of Pripyat, visited the Chernobyl zone illegally not for the first time. One week ago, police drew up administrative materials against them for entering the restricted area.

With regard to all violators, the police drew up reports under Art. 46-1 (Violation of the requirements of the radiation safety regime in areas subject to radioactive contamination) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.

Administrative materials were sent to the court for a decision.
