The regional prosecutor’s office approved and sent to court an indictment against the director of the state enterprise who, for selfish motives, abusing his official position, squandered budget funds.
It is established that the director of a state enterprise belonging to the sphere of management of the State Agency of Ukraine for Exclusion Zone Management has concluded an agreement with one of the state owned enterprises on technical supervision of construction of the access railway to the construction site of the centralized spent fuel storage facility.
Knowing that the expenses for salaries of employees of the exclusion zone, which are used to perform paid technical inspection services, were provided in the estimates at their own expense, he signed acts of acceptance-transfer of work under this agreement in the amount of more than 222 thousand hryvnias, thus the salary for employees was budgeted for twice, which led to the waste of state budget funds in the amount of 250 times or more than the tax-free minimum income.
Currently, the pre-trial investigation in this case has been completed. The indictment was sent to court for consideration on the merits.
