Six illegal tourists arrested in Chernobyl – one German

Kyiv region police documented illegal tourists in the Chernobyl zone, among whom one German citizen.

During the patrol of the exclusion zone, law enforcement officers of the Vyshgorod district police department jointly with the employees of the State Border Service and special appointments found in the prohibited territory of 6 citizens who bypassed checkpoints illegally infiltrated the territory of the exclusion zone for the purpose of extreme tourism.

The age of offenders from 26 to 36 years. Among them there are two Lviv citizens, a Kievan, as well as residents of Kherson and Kyiv region. In addition, one of the extreme tourists turned out to be a German citizen.

For unauthorized infiltration into the exclusion zone, police have drawn up administrative protocols regarding violators under the century. 46-1 (Violation of radiation safety requirements in the areas that have suffered radioactive pollution) Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses.

Also, law enforcement officers sent to the migration filing service according to which the decision was made to reduce the term of a foreigner’s stay in Ukraine.
