During a patrol, officers from the Vyshhorod RUP Police Department found illegal tourists in the resettled city of Pripyat. Three foreign boys illegally entered the territory of the exclusion zone outside the checkpoints for the purpose of extreme tourism.
As it turned out, Czech citizens aged 20 to 33 are legally staying in Ukraine.
Concerning violators police officers made reports according to Art. 46-1 (Violation of the requirements of the radiation safety regime in areas exposed to radioactive contamination) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
Police officers appealed to the migration service to reduce the length of stay of foreigners in Ukraine. The materials were sent to the Ivankivsky District Court of Kyiv Region for a decision.
