Three Ukrainians arrested in Chernobyl

Extreme tourists from from Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky and Vinnytsia were found in the Chernobyl zone.

Implementing the information received from border guards of the Mlachivka department, National Police officers found three people who, bypassing the checkpoints, entered the territory of the Chernobyl Exclusion zone.

The men violated the current legislation for extreme recreation in radioactively contaminated territory. The guys met on one of the stalker forums and after chatting online, decided to enter the exclusion zone illegally.

Police representatives drew up reports on violators under Art. 46-1 “Violation of the requirements of the radiation safety regime in areas subject to radioactive contamination”.
