In the Chernobyl zone, another illegal Belarusian tourist was discovered.
Today, the Vyshgorod District Police Department received a message that a citizen of the Republic of Belarus got lost in the exclusion zone, near the “Duga” object and wants to “give up” to the police.
Police have found that a 28-year-old citizen of the Republic of Belarus has officially arrived in Ukraine through a checkpoint in the Chernihiv region. However, December 1 illegally penetrated into the exclusion zone beyond checkpoints for the purpose of extreme tourism.
Police have put used administrative protocol 46-1 (Violation of the requirements of the radiation security regime in areas suffering from radioactive pollution).
Administrative materials will be sent to the Ivankiv District Court of the Kyiv region for a decision.
Dear citizens! Police remind again that the exclusion zone is a controlled territory and therefore illegal tourism is prohibited in the area.
