Police in Vyshhorod region found an extreme tourist in the exclusion zone
January 23 while patrolling the territory of the exclusion zone in the resettled village. Opachychi, officers of the G1 Police Department (Chornobyl) of the Vyshhorod District Police Department found a man.
A 26-year-old resident of Kyiv entered the territory of the Chornobyl NPP zone for the purpose of extreme tourism, bypassing checkpoints.
Regarding the violator, the police drew up a report under Art. 46-1 (Violation of the requirements of the radiation safety regime in areas subject to radioactive contamination) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
Administrative materials were sent to the court for a decision.
The police once again remind that the exclusion zone is a controlled territory, and therefore illegal tourism in this area is prohibited.
