The Chernobyl exclusion zone yesterday was full of Ukrainian flags! Blue-yellow flags with bright colors “bloomed” at the main checkpoint entering the zone, next to the DAZV administration building in Chernobyl, the Crisis Center, power plant, and elsewhere.
Stunning and fantastic – State flags were installed on the cult locations of the exclusion zone. They appeared at the highest point of one of the antenna “Duga” and 16-floor building in Pripyat!
It is on this day that we feel special strength, unity, independence, mutual support! With pride for Ukraine and a sense of dignity look into the future and confidently walk together!

Contamination Zone is a group of people who are united by our love for the Chernobyl Zone. We are a non-profit organisation and every year we raise thousands of euros for good causes in the Chernobyl Zone, such as firefighting equipment, monument restoration, animal welfare and more.
