Last year, in Pripyat, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Chernobyl tragedy, former residents of the city planted a symbolic 35 rose bushes purchased by the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Flowers were planted near the Energetik House of Culture.
While in Pripyat, it was noticed that only 2 bushes have bloomed so far. But how beautiful!
Pripyat was considered the city of roses. Before the accident, as many as 33,000 bushes of fragrant, beautiful flowers were planted here.
