Ivan Lytovchenko was born on 8th July 1921.
Graduating from the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts in 1954, he worked on mosaics in Kyiv at the River Station, Boryspil Airport, and Khreshchatyk Metro Station.
In 1976 he began work in the city of Pripyat. He created Music and To The Light in 1976, Dawn in 1979 and Creation in 1982.
